A former CHA board member and parent, Tim Pappageorge, will be offering an ACT Test Prep Seminar to CHA students for FREE (a $100 value). The seminar will take place on Saturday, March 18, from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at CHA in Room #203 (Mr. Chavez’s room), and students must register in advance.
“My drive is to help place people of faith in places of influence,” Pappageorge said. “CHA kids will benefit from a competitive bid for the programs that God is leading them to.”
Participants must purchase The Official ACT Prep Guide, which will be ordered automatically for the student and charged to the family’s FACTS account when the student registers for the seminar.
The goal of the seminar is to help students increase their ACT scores. Pappageorge said, “This extra margin can help students to ascend to competitive programs or to get better scholarship results.”
Having tutored students for more than 15 years, Pappageorge uses a mix of these key domains: psychology of peak performance; strategies for a top score in each section rather than generalities that result in a score in the mid 20s; and content-specific pointers.
Space is limited and juniors will have priority. Registration will close on March 10.
