The CHA Investment
Providing a Christian education is a sacrifice of love by parents, grandparents, teachers, staff, volunteers, and donors. But even more significant than the investment are the blessings.
Affording our precious children the opportunity to develop a secure foundation of faith, in an environment where the growth and health of the whole person are emphasized, puts the next generation on the pathway to abundant life. What a privilege to be a part of this important work!
The actual cost of what it takes to provide the Christ centered, academically excellent, life transforming education to each student at CHA surpasses current tuition. We are grateful for God’s provision through generous donations and facility rental income, while we prayerfully steward our resources through prudent cost management.
We trust that you will find the same: When He calls and where He leads, God provides.
CHA is one of the best investments I can make in my children’s lives. These are their most formative years, and I want them to be extremely well-educated while being taught how to interpret the world through the lens of Jesus Christ.
–Matt, CHA Parent
We chose CHA because we wanted a school that would most closely mirror the values we are striving to teach at home.
–Joyce, CHA Parent
CHA was the best parenting decision that we ever made and definitely the best investment that we’ve made.

Tuition and Fees
Below you’ll find the links to our published tuition rates and fees, as well as an overall look at how CHA funds the additional educational costs above and beyond what tuition covers. If you have questions, please reach out to the Coordinator of Financial Services.
Tuition Assistance
Like many of our new parents, this might be the first time you have considered a private school. We offer several ways to save and make our distinctly Christian education affordable. As you bring your requests before the Lord, please also reach out to our Admissions Office to learn what assistance might be available to you. See some of the options listed below.
Need-Based Financial Aid
Full-time students in grades 1-12 who have demonstrated financial need may receive up to 40% off tuition. Full-day Kindergarten students may receive up to 30% off tuition. Currently about 21% of our families receive need-based tuition.
The financial aid process opens on November 1 for the next school year, and awards are dispersed beginning in March. Click the button below for complete details on our Financial Aid program.
Multiple Child Tuition Discount
In addition to need-based aid, your family may qualify for an additional discount if you have more than one child enrolled at CHA.
Non-CHA Sponsored Assistance
CHA participates in the Illinois “Invest in Kids” scholarship program which allows students from families with incomes up to 300% of the federal poverty level to apply for awards valued as much as 100% of tuition. CHA partners with ACSI’s Children’s Tuition Fund of Illinois to administer the program. To learn more, please visit the Children’s Tuition Fund of Illinois. Their scholarship application process opens in early January.
Special Assistance
Additional need-based assistance may be available from the Special Assistance Fund for extenuating circumstances. This fund is donor-supported and the availability of awards is limited. For specific information, applying families should contact the Admissions Office.
Why Christian Heritage Academy
Your students spends the best eight of their waking hours in school, where their minds and worldview are shaped by teachers, peers, books and curriculum. By the time they graduate, they will have spent over 18,000 hours in school. These hours shape your child’s thoughts, habits, character and future. As parents, you must ask yourself: Who will influence my child during these hours? Where will they spend the bulk of their day during these formative years, and will it be worth it?
At CHA, we see our opportunity to invest in your child during these hours as stewardship and a ministry. Jesus said in Luke 6:40 (NIV), “The student…who is fully trained will be like the teacher.” Our students learn in a Christ-centered environment from loving, godly role models we call “living curriculum teachers,” whom we would be proud for our children to emulate. The result has been not only outstanding academic performance and college preparation but students who love God and are equipped to serve others and make a kingdom impact with their lives.
