What artistic creations will your child accomplish during six uninterrupted hours for two days, in a convenient camp located right in the art room of CHA? Summer Creative Art Mini Camp provides your child with a fun opportunity to grow and learn with Mrs. Magary.
Summer Creative Art Mini Camp will allow students the time to create projects to expand their visual thinking skills while drawing, painting and sculpting what interests them. Students enjoy the time to focus on drawing, painting or sculpting a more detailed project than during the school year. The class will focus on a painting or drawing theme and a sculpture project of the student’s choosing. The first morning will be drawing, the afternoon painting and sculpture, the second day, students will complete projects. The last half hour of camp will be an art exhibit and demonstration time for the entire family. Class size: minimum 8, maximum 20.
Schedule – Camps will be held June 6-7 and June 8-9, 2023, from 9:00 AM-3:30 PM.
Registration begins Tuesday, March 7. Completed registrations and payment (attention: Pam Magary) may be dropped off with Mrs. Smith in the front office. You will not have a spot until payment is made in full. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis after 8:30 AM on March 7.

What artistic creations will your child accomplish during three uninterrupted hours a day, for five consecutive days in a convenient camp located right in the art room of CHA? Summer Creative Art Camp provides your child with a fun opportunity to grow and learn with Mrs. Magary.
The Summer Creative Art Program will allow students the time to create projects to expand their visual thinking skills while drawing, painting and sculpting what interests them. The class will utilize a different art medium every day with lessons in drawing, cartooning, painting and sculpture. Working with the premise that accurate and satisfactory drawing is the language of visual thinking, techniques will be taught that help children develop a strategy for solving the problems they encounter when drawing. Students enjoy the time to focus on drawing, painting or sculpting a more detailed project than during the school year. Our last class will be an art exhibit and demonstration time for the entire family.
