Great News during this Special Season

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday we had the great joy of hosting over 300 grandparents, parents and special friends for Grandparents Day and Thanksgiving chapel. All of our students participated in an inspiring chapel service of music and scripture beautifully orchestrated by our music faculty.

I had the opportunity to give a brief charge to our grandparents from our CHA year verse: Hebrews 12:1-2, focusing especially on verse one: “Therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses…”

I reminded our grandparents of how their grandchildren need to:
1) see their example of continuing passion for Christ, the Bible and church;
2) hear their story of running with Christ over the decades; and
3) know that they are regularly praying for them.

Also shared at our Thanksgiving chapel were the amazing results of our 2017 Coinucopia class challenge. Over $68,000 was given by our students and families allowing us to purchase new handicap accessible doors, also improving security. What an amazing blessing and provision by our Lord through the generosity of so many!
