COINUCOPIA 2019 UPDATE
December 6, 2019 – MID-DAY UPDATE
December 6 NOON: With only 12 HOURS LEFT, it has been a close race between 4th and 5th Grades!
JUST 12 HOURS LEFT in Coinucopia 2019!
We have just passed $60,000! Our all-school goal of $75,000 is within reach! Thank you, CHA. Let’s keep pressing toward the all-school goal, toward a brand new fire panel that will enhance our ability to receive input and communicate to the fire department.
Also remember the recently added Blindfold Food Challenge Incentive! If we reach our first collective goal of $75,000, Mr. Dinkelman and Mr. Bishop (and others) will eat, blindfolded, any food selected by a grade that reaches $5,000. That’s right, if we reach $75,000, every grade that reaches the $5,000 mark will get to choose a food for them to taste without knowing what it is.
- Congratulations to Grades 5, 4 and 2 for earning a lunch from Culver’s! Grade 5 is also very close to earning a Funtopia party.
- Grades 4, 5, 2, PK4, 1 and 7 have earned a movie/gym party.
- Grades 4, 5, PK, 2, 1, 7, 6, 9, K and 3 have earned firecracker popsicles.
- If we reach $75,000: so far Grades 6, 4, 2 and PK4 will be able to pick a food for the Blindfold Food Challenge.
Great job, CHA. Let’s keep pushing forward and TURN UP THE HEAT!
Moms and Dads, Grandparents, Friends . . .
It’s not too late. Send in your coins, dollars and checks, or donate online below! Be sure to designate your child’s grade, to help them earn incentives based on the level of fundraising, as shown in the table below.
Coinucopia helps us raise funds to meet critical needs at our school. This year’s goal of $75,000 (Our stretch goal is $100,000 – come on let’s do it!) will allow us to begin the process of installing a state-of-the-art fire safety panel that is required to keep our systems current. Thank you in advance for your support!

Getting Fired Up at CHA!
Are you ready? Can you feel it? It’s getting warmer!!
CHA’s annual “Coinucopia” launches Monday, November 4! And this year, we’re getting Fired Up for CHA! We’re raising funds for critical fire safety improvements and the competition will be hot!
Encourage your student to support Coinucopia and bring coins to school to deposit in the jars in the classrooms. The contest runs from Monday, November 4 through Friday, December 6, when we’ll total the amounts and announce the winners.
Speaking of winning, opportunities for prizes abound. Classes that raise the most will get…
… Laser Tag
This Year’s Grand Prize: A “splish and splash” water afternoon at school in the spring.
This Year’s Stretch Goal Prize: Dr. Hertzberg and other school administrators in a dunk tank at our spring Family Fest!
Our Goal: Raise $75,000 ($100,000 is our stretch) to fund a critical fire alert panel that will dramatically improve communication with the fire department if we ever have an emergency. We’ll also fund Stage One of our detection system including new smoke detectors and alarm strobe lights and audio alarms.
So… Let’s make this happen and go “over the top” with Coinucopia this year. Get your spare change ready. (…and your checks, too, parents!) Let’s get fired up for CHA!
