Dear CHA Community:

This is an important reminder for all of us to continue to be vigilant in our efforts to keep our students and staff healthy as we complete this school year.

There has been an uptick in positive COVID cases in our surrounding communities which has subsequently impacted us at CHA as well. Currently, we have four positive cases in our school (students and staff ranging from PK-4 to our Upper School). As a result, other members of our community (staff and students) have or are fulfilling their required quarantine period because of exposure to these positive cases. All of these situations are being closely monitored by our Health Services team.

We ask for your continuing cooperation and daily diligence helping to keep all of our students and staff healthy. Recently, we have had some incidents where students have come to school even though members of their own family were experiencing COVID-like symptoms. Please remember that if anyone in your family presents any type of cold, allergy, or flu-like symptoms, students and staff must remain at home even if asymptomatic until a COVID test is taken and a negative result is received. If you have any questions, please contact our Health Services department.

We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness to CHA in every way this year. Our desire and commitment is to do everything we possibly can do to complete this year in a strong and healthy way. Your partnership as well as your daily prayers for CHA are critical to help make this happen.

Gratefully His and yours,

Dr. Hutz H. Hertzberg
