Thriving families has been the core value of the CHA Family Enrichment Series the last several years. More than ever we see the need to pour into our families and help strengthen them as the battle rages for the heart of the family.
This fall we are sharing with you a scripture based message out of Deuteronomy from Scott Phelps, titled, Parenting God’s Way. It’s a 40-minute presentation that we encourage you to listen to at your convenience.
Phelps serves as Executive Director of the Abstinence & Marriage Education Partnership based near Chicago, and is cofounder and former Chairman of the National Abstinence Education Association in Washington D.C. He received his M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL, and he is the author of five abstinence education programs for youth, which are used in public and private schools around the country. Scott and his wife Carrie have four grown children and live in Mt. Prospect, IL.
