The CHA family celebrated another year of God’s faithfulness at our annual “Family Fest” on May 6th. More than 350 friends and family gathered for a fun-filled day on campus, including parents, children, faculty and staff. It was also a delight to meet first time visitors who came to learn more about CHA and experience our community.
The sun shone brightly Saturday and the atmosphere on campus was vibrant as children and parents worshipped together, visited with friends, played games and savored Malnati’s pizza. Our energetic fifth graders launched the morning in a special chapel, leading the congregation in the exuberant “Walk for Jesus” song. Our Upper School worship band also led a time of worship, and a video produced by Upper School senior, Scott Naubert, inspired everyone with a retrospective of this school year. What a great year!
After chapel, attendees had many choices of activities, including inflatables in the gym, games in our newly renovated “Loft,” prizes, and of course lunch in the Student Center. (See a few photos below.)
Family Fest is a celebration of the goodness and grace that God continues to pour out on our CHA family. We would like to thank the many volunteers who worked to make this another wonderful event–we can’t wait til next year! We are also grateful to our generous sponsors who helped to make this event possible:
