First Day of School – A Time to Come Together

Dr. Hertzberg shares a message on our year verse, Hebrews 12:1-2.

On Tuesday, August 22, the 2017-2018 school year began with great excitement and anticipation!

As students entered their classrooms and were greeted by their teachers and classmates, parents enjoyed a spirit of welcome and fellowship provided by PVO (Parent Volunteer Organization) at the First Morning breakfast in the Student Center.  An array of delicious treats and beverages were served, and opportunities to volunteer were offered as PVO representatives shared about the role of PVO encouraging parents on ways to become involved.

After the breakfast, parents, students, teachers, faculty and staff gathered together in the Auditorium for an all-school Chapel service to worship and give thanks to the Lord for all he has provided at CHA and to ask his blessing on the year ahead. Dr. Hutz Hertzberg, President, gave a message focusing on our year verse, Hebrews 12:1-2. Please enjoy his message below:
