Honoring CHA Teacher, Miss Robin Russell

Every student who has ever attended CHA in 7th or 8th grade has had Miss Russell as a teacher. She was one of the first six faculty members hired in 1984 to teach at the newly established Christian Heritage Academy – and since then she has impacted the hearts and minds of hundreds of students.

Currently serving as middle school Science Teacher, middle school Homeroom Teacher, and Coordinator of Curriculum, Miss Russell is a godly role-model who has a unique gift for connecting with young teen students and addressing their needs during this important time in their development.

Over the years, Miss Russell has invested her heart in the mission of CHA. Reflecting on her service at the school, she shared that “I would not be the teacher that I am today if God had not led me to Christian Heritage Academy. CHA is a supportive community where teachers are encouraged to strive for excellence. Working with families who have sacrificed so much for their children to come to CHA has made teaching both a profession and a ministry. It has truly been a blessing in my life.”

Miss Russell has a BA in Literature from Wheaton College, and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Science from Concordia University.

Loved by her colleagues, students, parents, and alumni, we celebrate Miss Russell and are grateful for all that she has contributed over the years.  Here are some ways you can join with us as we congratulate and honor her on her faithful 34 years of service to the Lord at CHA:
