Congratulations to three students who will be representing Christian Heritage Academy at the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District 7 Fall Festival this month! Freshman Amara Mohn successfully auditioned into the ILMEA District 7 Senior Honors Chorus. CHA students in the Junior Honors Chorus are Jonathan Crisan, Grade 7, and Elle Vanderlaan, Grade 6.
Because of COVID-19, the ILMEA District Festivals will be held virtually this year with digital master class events. Students will hear a motivational keynote address followed by two breakout sessions with esteemed clinicians.
Thank you to Mrs. Eileen Swanson, director of Soli Deo and the Ambassadors choral groups at CHA, for helping train and encourage our Middle and Upper School students to use their voices to glorify the Lord through song.
