Christian Heritage Academy’s Middle School presents the play, Angels We Have Heard on High, written by our very own drama teacher, Miss Kat Metzger. The play will be presented only online this year, premiering on the CHA YouTube channel on Friday, December 4, at 7 PM.
Join a group of Angels, led by CHARLENE (the angelic choir director) as they are preparing Heaven for the very first Christmas celebration! Only the angel FAITH (the decorating angel) feels something is missing in everything they’re doing. But what could it be when everything around them looks so splendid? All the while ANGELIC (Reporter for the Daily Herald) and SPY ANGEL (Mission-Possible agent) are sent to earth to keep watch and report back on all the promised events as they unfold – foretelling of the Savior’s arrival!! Could this be the night? Could the very first Christmas happen before FAITH and all her angel friends discover that what’s missing – what’s needed to make the first Christmas in Heaven, and every Christmas after splendid – is our hearts?!
