THE WIZARD OF OZ

Friday, January 21, 2022 – 7 PM
Saturday, January 22, 2022 – 2 PM

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR:

This production of “The Wizard of Oz” was adapted for the stage by Jon Jory, from the book by L. Frank Baum.

Why did we choose this show?

Paul stated it so well through the inspired word of God: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

The Wizard of Oz teaches us about the importance of truth. It’s not only trust or faith or belief that matters; it’s the object of our trust that matters—where and to whom we look.

The man behind the curtain can do little for us; but the God of heaven and our savior, Jesus, does everything for us!

Let us take the lesson from the Wizard of Oz and let us learn to put our trust in Jesus Christ alone.
