Tim Dinkelman has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Central College in Naperville, IL and was a Certified Public Accountant in Wisconsin at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Later, he worked for various divisions of Dover Corporation for 17 years including roles in Finance and Operations. A transfer brought him and his family to Chicago where he served as the Director of Operations for Midland Manufacturing, a division of Dover based in Skokie. Tim’s volunteer activities included service on Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy’s (Broken Arrow, OK) Board of Directors, including a term as President, basketball coach for five years at ILCA, chaperone for two youth mission trips and various activities with each church he has been a part of.
With spiritual gifts in leadership and administration, Tim served on the CHA Board of Directors from 2015-2017. He stepped off the Board in June 2017 to accept the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations. Tim has a passion for athletics and has served as a coach for various CHA athletic teams and has also served as a chaperone for CHA’s 8th grade class trips to Washington DC.
Tim and his wife, Nikki, attend the Bridge Community Church, and Tim believes that Christian education provides one piece of the home/church/school trifecta, focused on developing the next generation of Christian leaders. They have three children: Josh (CHA Class of 2017), Annika (CHA Class of 2019) and Elizabeth (CHA class of 2022).
