Robin Russell

    Miss Robin Russell grew up in Chicago. She graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973 and received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Science Education from Concordia University in 1986.  She holds an additional 30 hours in post-master’s work.

    She began her teaching career in 1977 and has taught in Christian schools for 41 years. She came to Christian Heritage Academy in 1984 when the school first opened. She retired in 2018. When called upon, she returned to work with the Accreditation process in the fall of 2019 and took on the role of Dean of Academics in February of 2020. Her greatest joy is to see her students continue to follow and serve Christ in their adult years.

    Miss Russell spent many summers working at Lake Geneva Youth Camp, both counseling and directing the girls’ camp program.  She also worked at Trinity International University as an instructor in Methods of Science and Health K-9 from 1988 – 2005.

    Miss Russell attends The Orchard in Arlington Heights, and is known for being a drinker of Diet Pepsi, an avid Cubs and Bears Fan, and loves to read and travel when time allows.
