Along the shores of Lake Michigan, north of Chicago and stretching inland to the west, the villages and towns of the North Shore area where Christian Heritage Academy is located offer relaxed suburban living along with the benefits of proximity to one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
For families looking to put down roots in the “Chicagoland” area, the north suburbs are consistently considered among the most desirable. Home values are historically stable with a broad range of housing options and abundant shopping, dining, entertainment, and services. Local parks, recreation facilities, and forest and nature preserves are plentiful. Other nearby highlights include the Chicago Botanic Garden, approximately 5 miles to the north, and Lake Michigan with its beautiful shoreline and sand beaches, approximately 5 miles to the east.
And of course, the City of Chicago to our south offers world class museums, cultural events, architecture, and so much more. An expansive network of public transportation and expressways allows for convenient commuting throughout the Chicagoland area, and busy Chicago O’Hare International Airport is only 20-30 minutes from our front door. Chicago Midway International Airport and Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport also serve as air travel options for those in our area.
Our CHA Home
The campus of Christian Heritage Academy is situated on 15 beautiful acres in the heart of Chicago’s North Shore and surrounding suburbs. Just south of the intersection of Willow and Waukegan Roads, our location provides convenient access to I94/294, as well as Route 41, a major north-south expressway, positioning CHA to serve families as far south as the City of Chicago and as far north as the Illinois/Wisconsin state line.
Our spacious facilities allow plenty of room for students to grow and learn in our Christ-centered environment. Amenities include 37 classrooms, science and computer labs, music and art classrooms, a large student center, full sized gymnasium, 800-seat auditorium, 100-seat chapel, outdoor athletic fields, and two age appropriate playgrounds.
