Spring 2025 Show

Our Upper School Theater program will present Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time on March 14 & 15, 2025.

One of literature's most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry, is back —braces, stubbornness and all. Once again, she's joining forces with Mrs Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe, and more to battle the forces of evil in an epic rescue mission.

Directed by Mrs. Sunita Puleo, the show promises to keep you on the edge of your seat! Save money by purchasing your tickets online prior to the day of the show!

Find Your Place

Ever dreamed of belting out a showstopper, bringing a hilarious improv scene to life, or creating a space where everyone can flourish?

This comprehensive approach prepares our students for creating a variety of performances, including improvisatory sketches, monologues, scenes, and mini-musicals. These activities foster Christ-like empathy and effective communication essential for building strong communities. To this end, participation in the performing arts (whether theater, music, or debate) is a requirement for Middle School students and encouraged for those in Upper School.

    Theater students will:

      • Participate in improvisatory exercises, games, and performances to explore emotions, active listening, physicality, and collaborative storytelling.
      • Delve into scripted monologues and dialogues, analyzing characters and developing scene performances with attention to detail in costumes, props, and stage elements.
      • Explore musical theater, studying live productions, crafting their characters, and enhancing relational skills through discussion improvisations.

Ready to step into the spotlight or build your skills behind the scenes? Join the CHA Theater program and let your creativity flourish!

      Past Shows

CHA presents one large-scale production for the Upper School and one for the Middle School every year. The shows are presented to the student body as well as to the community and solicit rave reviews.

      Meet Our Play Director

Mrs. Puleo is a multicultural performing artist with a deep love for God and people. She weaves communication and connection in everything she does and enjoys collaborating to tell stories that reflect life and God.

Being in theater, I have learned a lot about myself and the many gifts that God has given me to serve for his kingdom.

        Jay, CHA Student

One thing that I love about the theater program is that no matter how badly I mess up, I will always have people around me to encourage me and help me grow in my skills.
