We believe that as bearers of the image of God, we have a divinely appointed commission to be creative beings. Visual arts can speak truth into a broken world, impact culture, and reflect the beauty and glory of our Creator.

At CHA, we strive to equip students with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to be artists that can engage with the rich history of visual art in our world and respond creatively by sharpening the gifts that we have each been given. In our pursuit of excellence, we understand that the work that we produce is an offering of worship before our God. Encouragement and training can lead not only to content mastery but, more importantly, to glorifying our God and proclaiming the truth of his Word to our world.

One of my favorite things about creating art is the ability to visually express anything I can imagine. As a Christian, I especially like to use art to glorify God and His creation.

We believe that for students of all ages, art can have a profound impact on the mind, soul, and emotions. Our desire is that through visual arts, students would increasingly and unceasingly know and love our God and Creator.

In a culture that distorts what is beautiful and good, our world yearns for passionate, capable, effective artists that can point viewers to the truth of the Gospel and hope we have in Jesus.
