Beyond Classroom Walls

Field trips are one way students at Christian Heritage Academy Explore God’s Diverse World, one of our Expected Student Outcomes. They provide hands-on opportunities for students to engage with real-world concepts, fostering deeper understanding and retention of knowledge incorporating auditory, visual, and kinesthetic modes of learning, taking into account diverse learning styles.

Moreover, these outings promote class bonding, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences among students, which is crucial for their social development. By broadening horizons and creating a deeper connection to the world around them, field trips play a vital role in shaping well-rounded, engaged learners.

Going to Springfield was fun because I got to spend time with my friends and learn more about Abraham Lincoln.

I liked going to Trees for Tomorrow because we learned a lot about outdoor things, like trees, plants, and animals, and we got to do it with our friends.
