Affordable event rental space on the North Shore
Christian Heritage Academy offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for group functions and special events. We cater to not-for-profit organizations that engage in charitable religious and/or educational activities, bringing a positive presence to the North Shore. Located at 315 Waukegan Road, Northfield, IL, and with easy access to both I-94 and I-294, ample on-site parking, and a variety of spaces that serve groups of many sizes, it's one of the best event venues in the area!

Explore our Spaces
Our spacious, 15-acre campus is suitable for both small and large events, up to almost 900. We have onsite parking for 330 and a loading dock for larger deliveries.

The Auditorium
Make your event one to remember! The Auditorium at CHA seats 880 and is available for Dance Shows/Recitals, Musicals, Teaching/Lecture, Concerts and Worship Services. A professional production manager consults and oversees the productions.
The Auditorium features a 1424-sq.-foot stage, measuring 52′ W x 20′ D (wing to wing) with a 24’W x 16′ D bump out. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, including a teleprompter for our backstage green room. The facility is ADA-accessible.
The Auditorium is adjoined by a Courtyard Lobby as an additional gathering space, with ample space for gathering before and after your main event.

The Gymnasium
Clean and classy, the newly-updated Gymnasium (5264 square feet) features a full-size court built specifically for basketball and volleyball, with a second-level spectator seating area. Space sharing includes use of the locker rooms (dressing area and toilets only).
Reservations are offered in 2-hour minimum increments and can be used for sports practice and or events as well as non-sporting group events.
The Loft
Whether you’re looking to host a small conference, retreat, training/teaching time, or fellowship event, consider The Loft!
The Loft is a cozy, contemporary second-floor event space (2740 square feet) adjacent to the Auditorium, good for groups up to 100. The Loft features a speaking/performance stage complete with audio and video technology, as well as a casual gathering and activity space with booth-style seating options, a ping-pong table, and refreshments area.
Use of the Loft comes at a discount if bundled with an Auditorium reservation.
Instrumental & Vocal Music Rooms
Whether performing a recital, hosting a rehearsal, or presenting a workshop, CHA offers two music rooms for reservation, both equipped with tiered platforms. The Instrumental Music Room (#403) is 1558 square feet, and the Vocal Music Room (#401) is 1024 square feet. Room #403 is equipped with acoustical wall tiles.
Guests must bring their own instruments, if needed.
Use of the Music Rooms come at a discount if bundled with an Auditorium reservation.
The Heritage Room
Looking for a meeting area with a conference table, whiteboard, and comfortable seating options? Consider the Heritage Room at CHA. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, small workshop, interviews, or planning session, it’s a simple, functional space to help you get the job done.
The Heritage Room is located between the Auditorium and Student Center.
The Student Center
The Student Center at CHA is a multi-functional, 5640-square-foot activity space between the Auditorium and Gymnasium, including both a carpeted and tiled area. This space can service 300-400 people depending on table/chair set-up. Use of the Student Center comes at a discount if bundled with an Auditorium reservation.
