The road to the IHSA state golf finals runs through CHA!
Last week, almost 2,000 golfers entered the IHSA Class 1A state golf tournament. Christian Heritage Academy Freshman Micah Chiong began his journey to this weekend’s finals by competing in the Elgin Regional which was held at the Golf Club of Illinois in Algonquin. He shot an 81 which allowed him to move on to Sectional play.
On October 4, Micah played at the PrairieView Golf Club in Byron. On that day, he shot an 80, which qualified him to participate in the IHSA State Finals this weekend at the Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington.
