Rooted in Faith

At Christian Heritage Academy, we help students explore their God-given talents as well as develop a heart of worship. We offer general music for younger learners (K-5) and instrumental and choral opportunities (grades 3-12). In Middle School, participation in the performing arts (whether theater, music, or debate) is a requirement. So come sing your heart out, learn a new instrument, and discover the joy of creating beautiful music together that glorifies God!

Public Performances

The CHA Music Department warmly welcomes you to enjoy student performances and all-school chapel services each school year! These events are free to the public and are wonderful opportunities to celebrate our musicians' accomplishments and to worship our Maker.

Music Ensembles

General Music

All students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 learn the foundations of music literacy, audiation, and movement, along with how to play basic instruments. We cultivate attitudes of worship and emphasize using our voices and bodies to praise the Lord.

Our newly-updated Lower School music room has a tiered practice area, quality sound construction, a plethora of instruments, and plenty of space for movement and fun!

Instrumental Music

All students in fourth grade and above have the opportunity to learn a band instrument and participate in a school band ensemble. Students in our instrumental ensembles will grow in their skills as well as collaborate with their peers to create music and develop their own self-expression. Students will experience friendship, mentorship, and belonging through participation in these ensembles!

Choral Music

Beginning in third grade, students can be involved in the choral program where they will not only sing as an ensemble, but begin to explore the complexities of vocal music. Choral ensembles provide students with the opportunity to perform music from various genres and time periods, continually building their skills. The choral program places a heavy emphasis on performing for the glory of God and cultivating intentional community within the ensemble. These groups are wonderful places for students to experience friendship, mentorship, and belonging!
