➜ Familiarize yourself with the traffic flow

The most important piece of information a driver and student should know is if they are to go to an N door (on the North side of campus, so you will enter campus and turn LEFT) or an S door (on the South side of campus, so you will enter campus and turn RIGHT). The critieria for which door varies according to whether it is an arrival or pick-up, the school level of the child/ren, and which direction you intend to go on Waukegan upon leaving campus. All of this is outlined in the Parent-Student Handbook under School Guidelines – Arrival & Dismissal. The good news is there will be plenty of staff both outside and inside to direct your child safely between the vehicle and classroom (and back again). Make sure you put a gold vehicle sign in your front window for pick-up (read about that in the Parent-Student Handbook, too).

…More coming soon!
